CMK 1/72 Warsaw Pact Pilots

A quick look at the CMK 1/72 Warsaw Pact Pilots resin figure set (F72051).

I purchased these from Hannants to give with my growing stash collection of Warsaw Pact aircraft. Plus I was very impressed with CMK’s Korean War Pilots. Which have been very useful additions to my Korean War project.

So what do you get in the pack? As you will see from the following photographs, you get 3 very different figures. Which is what I like about the CMK range, They do tend to give you quite individual poses with their figures.

Art work for the CMK 1/72 Warsaw Pack Pilots set.

As per all CMK figure sets, the painting instructions are very basic, but a good starting place for research.

Considering these figures are 1/72 scale (25mm), that is quite nice detail that has been captured with the sculpting.

As I’m currently building (Nov 2023) the Airfix 1/72 MiG-17F, one of these figures will make an ideal addition to stand alongside the finished model. It will also give me more impetus to also work on the Eduard MiG-15 and Eduard MiG-21 that I currently have sat in my stash.
